Coforma Moves Headquarters to Maryland

The digital services company recently celebrated its relocation to Bethesda with an open house event.

The penthouse at 915 Meeting Street in North Bethesda was abuzz with activity on a recent Tuesday evening as Coforma welcomed friends, partners, and local government officials to an open house event celebrating their recent move to Maryland.

Founded in 2017, the mission-driven digital services company works with government, commercial, and nonprofit organizations to build technology solutions that improve people’s lives. Starting with just three co-founders (and a different name, &Partners), Coforma has grown to employ over 150 individuals. Its work spans healthcare, Veterans services, and public interest focus areas with projects that have addressed barriers to healthcare access, modernized benefits delivery for Veterans, enabled eligible taxpayers to file their federal taxes, and more.

“This new space gives us the ability to host our own meetings for our leadership and project teams, and more,” Eduardo Ortiz, Coforma CEO, said at the event. “We also want to invite other  values-aligned companies to the space to co-host conversations, events, and more.”

Maryland and Montgomery County welcomed Coforma with a certificate of recognition from the Maryland Comptroller’s office, presented by Jinal Contractor, Small Business and Community Development Director, and with an awards citation from the Montgomery County Council.

“We’re excited to be here in Maryland, and Montgomery County, specifically,” Ortiz said. “We appreciate the warm welcome we have received, and we’re excited about the technology innovations and improvements that are underway to better serve those who live and work here. We’d love the opportunity to talk about what you’re doing or the challenges you’re facing and think about how we might make things that matter together.”
