Earlier this year, Coforma launched a content campaign focused on web accessibility to provide technologists with practical, real-world accessibility knowledge they could apply immediately to their work.
We’re pleased to announce that our efforts to make the internet more accessible for everyone resulted in two Anthem Award wins. We brought home Silver and Community Voice awards in the Responsible Technology category.
Anthem Award winners are selected by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences. Judges for the 5th Annual Anthem Awards include leaders from organizations such as the American Heart Association, the Gates Foundation, and IKEA.
“This has been a challenging year for the impact sector, but the Winners of the 5th Annual Anthem Awards have shown their resilience and continued commitment to a better tomorrow,” said Anthem Awards General Manager, Patricia McLoughlin. “This year’s winners are a source of hope, and I am excited to celebrate their work with the world today.”
The 5th Annual Anthem Awards received more than 2,000 submissions from 42 countries worldwide. By amplifying the voices that spark global change, the Anthem Awards are defining a new benchmark for impactful work that inspires others to take action in their communities.
“Our goal was to give teams the tools for a more inclusive practice, built on the idea that accessibility is a shared, cross-functional responsibility,” said Senior Director of Creative Technology and campaign contributor, Jared Cunha. “It’s about moving beyond compliance to true inclusion. To have this effort recognized by the Anthem Awards is a profound honor for our entire team.”
